Development Updates

It's been a while since I posted an update. I'm currently trading a suite of 37 live algorithms—a mix of long and short strategies, including trend following and mean reversion. I'm grateful to Laurens Bensdorp and Alexei Rudometkin for their exceptional mentoring in algorithmic trading, and to fellow students who have become great friends from across the world: Australia, the UAE, Europe, and the USA. Special thanks to Thami Kabbaj, with whom I've had the pleasure of working closely—you've been an inspiration, friend, and colleague on my trading journey. A quick update on returns: I have been live since November 2025 with this suite. As of now, I'm up +5.37% since November. I finished Q1 2025 at +6.34%, and my year-to-date return stands at 8.80%—strong results given the overall market has been down. For now, I will continue expanding my skillsets as I am teaching myself more ways of doing research using MT5, allowing me to do research on lower timeframes.

Currently developing multiple Long Term Trend Following (LTTF) systems that utilize stocks from major indices such as the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Russell 2000, and S&P 100. It's fascinating to observe how these LTTF systems can outperform major indices by trading just 10 stocks simultaneously per strategy, all while adhering to simple systematic rules. I am using the QuantumX software for backtesting, which provides the best quality data from Norgate. What I love about QuantumX is its user-friendly interface; it's click-and-go, requiring no coding skills. This accessibility allows me to focus on strategy development and analysis without getting bogged down in technical details.

I am truly captivated by the principles outlined in books about automated, non-correlated trading strategies. Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with Alexei Rudometkin and Laurens Bensdorp, renowned experts in systematic trading. From the very beginning, I felt a strong connection with these professionals and decided to join their exclusive mentoring program to accelerate my development as a systematic trader. Here's what I will learn: • How to develop personalized, low-risk systematic trading strategies with proven advantages • How to build diversified, non-correlated trading systems • Mastering disciplined risk and money management techniques • Cultivating the mental discipline needed to consistently adhere to my trading plan. Exciting times are ahead!

As I immerse myself in more podcasts and delve deeper into books about systematic trading, I find myself increasingly curious about the most efficient methods for backtesting trading strategies. Backtesting is crucial for validating the effectiveness of a strategy before deploying it in live markets. I see significant opportunities in utilizing tools like RealTest and QuantumX, developed by renowned experts Laurens Bensdorp and Alexei Rudometkin. These platforms offer advanced features that can streamline the backtesting process, allowing traders to analyze historical data and refine their strategies with greater precision. I'm eager to explore how these tools can enhance my trading journey and help me achieve consistent results.

I've just launched the first version of the Consiquant website from Krabi, Thailand, inspired by a sudden wave of creativity. Fueled by my passion for trading, I am dedicated to developing quantifiable and consistent trading strategies that will not only benefit me but also have the potential to assist others in the future. While this project currently serves as a portfolio piece, I am genuinely excited about the possibilities it holds as I continue to grow and refine my skills.
